How the Incentive System Works
Basic Concept
When drivers complete rides, they automatically earn incentives based on:
How many rides they complete
What type of vehicle they use
Which area they're working in
Whether they meet daily or weekly targets
Two Types of Incentives
1. Daily Incentives
Drivers can earn rewards every day based on how many rides they complete that day.
System checks at the end of each day
Rewards are automatically added to driver's wallet
Based on daily ride targets
2. Weekly Incentives
Drivers can earn bigger rewards for meeting weekly targets.
System checks at the end of each week (Sunday)
Usually larger rewards than daily incentives
Based on total rides completed during the week
Example:
If a driver completes 10 rides in a day, they might earn $10 extra. If they complete 50 rides in a week, they might earn $60 extra.
5 Levels of Incentives
Drivers progress through 5 levels based on their experience. Each level has a fixed incentive amount per ride.
Level 1
Entry
0-25 rides
$2.00 per ride
Level 2
Standard
26-100 rides
$2.50 per ride
Level 3
Experienced
101-300 rides
$3.00 per ride
Level 4
Professional
301-600 rides
$3.50 per ride
Level 5
Elite
600+ rides
$4.00 per ride
How Levels Work: Drivers automatically move to higher levels as they complete more rides. No action needed - the system tracks progress automatically. Higher levels give fixed higher amounts per ride, not multipliers.
Vehicle Type & Zone Based Rewards
Vehicle Type Rewards
Different vehicles can have different incentive amounts:
Economy Cars: Standard incentive rates
Comfort Cars: Slightly higher fixed amounts
Luxury Cars: Higher fixed amounts
Premium SUVs: Highest fixed amounts
Zone-Based Rewards
Different areas can have different incentive rates:
Busy Downtown Areas: Extra fixed amounts to encourage drivers
Airport Zones: Special fixed rates for airport rides
Suburban Areas: Standard or reduced fixed amounts
Event Zones: Temporary higher fixed amounts during concerts, sports, etc.
How Incentives Are Calculated
Calculation Process
The system calculates incentives when a ride is completed:
When a ride is marked as completed, the system checks if it qualifies for incentives
The system determines the driver's current level based on total completed rides
It calculates the fixed incentive amount based on the driver's level
The incentive is automatically credited to the driver's wallet
Example Calculations
Example 1: New Driver, Economy Car, Regular Zone
Driver Level: Level 1 (0-25 rides completed)
Fixed Amount: $2.00 per ride
Rides Completed Today: 5 rides
Daily Incentive Earned: 5 × $2.00 = $10.00
Example 2: Elite Driver, Luxury Car, Busy Zone
Driver Level: Level 5 (600+ rides completed)
Fixed Amount: $4.00 per ride
Rides Completed This Week: 35 rides
Weekly Incentive Earned: 35 × $4.00 = $140.00
Technical Details:
The system uses the IncentiveCalculationService to process incentives. When a ride is completed:
The system retrieves the driver's progress for the current period (daily/weekly)
It increments the ride count for that period
It checks if the driver has achieved any new levels based on their total rides
For each achieved level, it creates an
Incentiverecord with the fixed amountThe fixed amount is credited to the driver's wallet
Admin Panel Configuration
Administrators can set up and manage the incentive system through the admin panel.
Where to Find Settings
Navigate to: Admin Dashboard → Reports → Incentive Reports
[Admin Dashboard Navigation Screenshot]
Configuration Options
1. Vehicle Type & Zone Settings
For each combination of vehicle type and zone, administrators can set:
Enable Incentives: Turn incentives on/off for this combination
Period Type: Choose daily, weekly, or both
Target Rides: How many rides needed to earn incentive
Incentive Amount: Fixed amount per ride for this combination
Configuration screen for vehicle type and zone settings
2. Level Configuration
For each level, administrators can set:
Level Number: 1 through 5
Target Rides: How many rides needed to reach this level
Fixed Amount: Fixed money amount per ride at this level
Configuration screen for level settings with fixed amounts
3. Global Settings
Some settings are controlled in the main settings area:
Enable Driver Incentives: Turn entire system on/off
Daily Incentive Enabled: Enable/disable daily incentives
Weekly Incentive Enabled: Enable/disable weekly incentives
Main settings screen with global incentive options
Important: Changes to settings take effect immediately for new rides. Existing rides are calculated with the settings that were active when the ride was completed.
For Drivers - What You Need to Know
No Special Action Needed: Just complete rides normally - incentives are automatic
Check Your Wallet: Incentives appear in your wallet automatically
Progress Tracking: Complete more rides to reach higher levels with better fixed amounts
Work in High-Incentive Zones: Some areas pay more - check your app
Drive Popular Vehicle Types: Some cars have higher fixed amounts
Pro Tips:
Complete your daily targets for consistent extra income
Work during busy times and in busy areas
Keep good ratings to qualify for premium vehicle incentives
Check the app for special event bonuses
For Administrators - Managing the System
Setting Up Incentives
Go to the Incentive Reports section
Select a vehicle type and zone combination
Set the period type (daily/weekly)

Best Practices
Start Simple: Begin with basic daily incentives
Monitor Costs: Watch total incentive spending
Adjust Based on Results: Increase fixed amounts in areas with driver shortages
Reward Loyalty: Use level system to keep experienced drivers
Common Questions
Q: When are incentives paid?
A: Daily incentives are paid at the end of each day. Weekly incentives are paid at the end of each week.
Q: How do I know if I earned an incentive?
A: You'll see the incentive amount added to your wallet balance. You'll also receive a notification.
Q: Can I lose an incentive I earned?
A: No. Once you complete the required rides, the incentive is guaranteed.
Q: Do cancelled rides count toward incentives?
A: No, only completed rides count toward incentive targets.
Q: How do I reach higher levels?
A: Just keep completing rides. The system automatically tracks your progress and moves you to higher levels.
